EXPANDING PREMIUM SPORTS EXPERIENCES IN ASIA
our vision for this venture
Our Role
CERP Holding plays a supportive yet strategically relevant role in the development of Mahima Padel. While the investment remains largely passive, it fits seamlessly into CERP’s broader focus on lifestyle-driven ventures and premium leisure concepts. Insights gained from related investments – especially within hospitality and experiential businesses – help provide Mahima with valuable input on user experience, operational structure, and long-term brand positioning.
Beyond financial participation, CERP contributes long-term perspective and strategic clarity. By recognizing the intersection of sports, wellness, and lifestyle, the holding supports Mahima’s evolution into more than a single sports venue – shaping it as a destination that brings together community, performance, and modern leisure culture. The collaboration is strengthened by shared vision and commitment, creating a strong alignment between all parties involved.
Impact So Far
Mahima Padel officially opened on 1 November after an extensive 2.5-year development phase.
The launch marked an important milestone not only for the project itself, but also for the surrounding area, which previously lacked a sports facility of this caliber. From day one, Mahima positioned itself as a premium, first-of-its-kind concept within the local market.
Early performance signals have been positive – particularly within the gym operations, which showed strong usage shortly after opening. The overall quality of the courts, architectural design, and integrated concept quickly resonated with local residents, expats, and international visitors. This early traction confirmed market demand for a modern, professional padel and fitness destination, validating both the strategic investment and development approach.
Additionally, close collaboration with experienced on-site partners accelerated operational learning. Their hands-on expertise and local understanding supported a smooth market entry and established a solid base for future growth.
Future Direction
The long-term ambition for Mahima Padel extends far beyond a single location in Bali.
The project is designed to expand into additional Asian markets, particularly in regions where padel is gaining momentum but access to high-quality facilities remains limited. The objective is to build Mahima into a recognizable regional sports and leisure brand, defined by premium infrastructure, modern training environments, and a strong sense of community.
Next steps focus on refining operational processes to ensure scalability, assessing potential future locations, and strengthening brand presence across both physical and digital channels. With rising interest in padel, wellness, and active lifestyle experiences throughout Asia, Mahima is well positioned to become a reference project for how sports infrastructure can successfully merge performance, community, and hospitality.
CERP Holding’s continued involvement ensures that expansion follows a structured and sustainable path – laying the groundwork for a broader regional footprint and a cohesive sports-lifestyle ecosystem.
