Security Airline × CERP Holding

Security Airline provides autonomous drone surveillance, drone detection and drone defence for industrial sites, critical infrastructure and large scale assets. With CERP Holding’s backing, the company brings together proprietary hardware, AI software and a VdS certified control centre to redefine perimeter security in Germany and beyond.

Autonomous Security For Critical Infrastructure

our vision for this venture

Our Role

CERP Holding’s investment in Security Airline reflects a clear strategic conviction: physical security for industrial sites and critical infrastructure is going through a fundamental shift. Traditional models, including static guard tours and observation towers, are costly, unreliable and structurally limited. Security Airline replaces them with an autonomous, AI driven drone system that operates 24/7 in real time, at a fraction of the cost and with significantly higher detection performance.

Beyond capital, CERP supports Security Airline with strategic guidance, network access and a long term growth perspective. The collaboration centres on scaling deployment across new industries and regions, strengthening the technology stack around the proprietary Drone Automation Center, and positioning the company as a category leader in autonomous perimeter protection. The investment thesis is anchored in a fast growing market, reinforced by new regulation around critical infrastructure protection in Europe.

Impact So Far

Security Airline has already established a strong operational track record. The flagship Arrow-401 LR drone system has completed more than 150,000 successful surveillance flights, is deployed by around 90 active users, and operates 24/7 across a wide range of industrial environments. Each deployment combines a self launching drone with a docking station, AI based video analytics, and a VdS certified emergency and service control centre acting as alarm provider.

The client portfolio reflects the calibre of the technology. Reference customers include LEAG, the Lusatian energy provider, which uses multiple surveillance drones to protect industrial sites against theft and unauthorised access. YADOS, a manufacturer of district heating systems, integrates the system into its facility management. Ajax confirms that its intrusion sensors integrate seamlessly with the drone, triggering automated flights and floodlighting to the exact alarm location. Other names on the customer list include Mercedes, Honeywell, Sysco and the German Federal Aviation Office (LBA).

Equally important, the company is already operating within the new regulatory reality. With the German KRITIS Dachgesetz now in force and registration deadlines approaching in 2026, Security Airline is positioned exactly where critical infrastructure operators need to act: combining drone detection, drone surveillance and drone defence in a single, legally compliant solution. Real world cases such as the Rausch chocolate factory in Stederdorf, deployed after a series of arson attacks, demonstrate that the system is being trusted in genuinely high stakes situations.

Future Direction

The long term vision for Security Airline is to establish itself as the leading autonomous security platform for industrial and critical infrastructure sites in Europe. Rather than selling drones as a product, the company offers a fully managed service through a monthly rental model that covers hardware, software, control centre and regulatory approvals. This lowers the barrier to entry for operators and turns advanced security technology into a predictable operating cost.

Upcoming priorities include expanding the application footprint into new verticals beyond manufacturing, energy and chemical parks. Solar parks, water and wastewater treatment plants, railway infrastructure, pipelines and border zones all share the same fundamental challenge: large perimeters, high value assets, limited personnel. The Security Airline system is purpose built for exactly that profile.

On the technology side, the focus is on deepening the proprietary Drone Automation Center software, advancing AI based threat detection, integrating closely with third party sensor ecosystems such as Ajax, and extending into active drone defence for sites facing aerial threats. The combination of detection, surveillance and defence within one platform is a structural advantage in a market where most providers cover only one of these layers.

With CERP’s long term backing, Security Airline is set up not just as a German market leader, but as a European reference for how autonomous, AI driven security can replace legacy models, more reliable, more cost efficient and ready for the regulatory demands of the coming decade.

The Arrow-401 LR launches autonomously on alarm or scheduled missions, day or night, in wind and cold. The integrated docking station charges and protects the VdS certified drone around the clock, ideal for large sites without permanent on site personnel.
